1. When should I arrive for camp?

We are expecting so see everyone at the campsite at 6:00 PM.
Youth may drive their own cars, but a bus will also be provided for those who need a ride. Please arrive at Maranatha Church by 4:30 PM on Friday. The bus will depart promptly at 5:00 PM, so don’t be late!


2. What should I bring to camp?

Pack a Bible, notebook, pen, personal hygiene items, bug spray, everyday clothing, church-appropriate outfits, sports shoes, bedding, a towel, and a bag for dirty clothes.


3. What are the clothing guidelines for camp?

  • Clothing should be modest and appropriate for a Christian camp.

  • No sleeveless shirts, spaghetti straps, tank tops, or see-through clothing.

  • Shorts and skirts should be a reasonable length (mid-thigh or longer).

  • No clothing with offensive or suggestive messages.

  • Bring at least one outfit suitable for a church service.


4. Are cell phones allowed?

People may bring phones, but they are not allowed during services, Bible sessions, or when asked by leaders. If a phone becomes a distraction, it will be held by staff until the end of the day.


5. What happens if I need medication?

All medications must be turned in to Julia Kolomeyets upon arrival. Please clearly label all medications with your name and instructions.


6. Do I need to participate in all activities?

Yes! Camp is meant to be interactive and fun. Everyone is expected to join in on the activities, Bible sessions, games, and events.


7. How do you ensure safety at camp?

Your safety is our top priority. We maintain clear behavior guidelines, supervision by trained leaders, and access to medical care if needed. In case of emergency, medical treatment will be provided.


8. What if someone has behavior issues at camp?

Respect toward leaders and each other is expected. If there are ongoing behavior issues, the youth leader will address them directly.


9. Are weapons or pocket knives allowed?

No. For everyone’s safety, weapons of any kind (including pocket knives) are not permitted.


10. Who can volunteer at camp?

Volunteers must be members of Maranatha Church. Volunteers help with activities, group support, and creating a Christ-centered environment. Volunteers may request a role but may be assigned where needed.


11. What kind of attitude is expected at camp?

All youth and volunteers are encouraged to imitate the character of Jesus—showing kindness, respect, and a servant’s heart in everything they do.


12. How can I support the camp if I’m not attending?

You can support camp by donating toward supplies, games, and essentials—or by sponsoring a student to attend! (See our Donations page for details.)
